Bombus books authors
As a former publisher, Andrew Bax spent much of his life issuing deadlines to busy professionals who had very little time for
writing. Now he has started to write himself he wonders why none of them, as far as he knows, blew a gasket.
Janet Bolam was brought up next to the ultimate playground - a farm complete with cows, chickens, geese, a pony and resident children. Now she plays with theatre, writing and grandchildren.
Kathleen Daly lives in Oxford with a rescue border collie, a retired Riding for the Disabled horse and a physicist husband. She studied history at Oxford University and has published a book and articles in French & English on medieval texts and manuscripts.
Ann Edwards lives in a small village in Oxfordshire. She is married with three children, has a one eyed pug, a magnificent cat, a foul tempered parrot and four hens. She likes to talk about writing and has given up cooking for watching the telly. www.annedwardsart.co.uk
Wendy Greenberg (plus her husband and son) are housekeepers to 2 cats with attitude. When not tending to their every need she regularly escapes to a world of fiction - reading, writing and Ambridge. She also loves (in no particular order) the West Wing, Mad Men, Veuve Cliquot, good food, the sea & singing in the car. Her greatest fear is rural living.
Nichola May home educates her three children and is in her final year of a Diploma in Creative Writing. She keeps chickens and a badly behaved spaniel. A slave to multi-tasking she has been known to knit through funerals, and usually writes in the kitchen whilst eating chocolate chips and baking chocolate chip-less cookies.
Jackie Vickers keeps neither mad hens nor crazy pets. She does, however, care about the fate of badgers and this year's fledglings. She has tried her hand at many things over the years, from being an architectural assistant to university teaching. Writing has now taken over her life and she frequently finds her fictional worlds preferable to the real one.
